Oct 30.- Rhine river-cruise fans are in for a treat with a new itinerary for 2014 from CroisiEurope.
Europe’s largest river-cruise operator has just announced another options, between Amsterdam and Basel, which will travel through some of the most beautiful areas of Holland, Germany and Switzerland and the unique blend of nature and culture they represent.
Beginning in Amsterdam, the nine-day cruise pass through the world-famous Black Forest wooded mountain range of south-west Germany and stop in cities like Aachen, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Koblenz, Mainz, Strasbourg and Breisach, before finishing in Basel. The itinerary will also be available in reverse.
It will also feature a new four-star premium ship, with 44 cabins with picture windows, a stylish lounge and the top-class cuisine and convivial atmosphere for which CroisiEurope is known.
There will be 11 departures between April and October, with prices starting from €1,393 per person (approximately £1,174), including accommodation in an outside cabin with all onboard meals, complimentary beer and wine at lunch and dinner as well as open bar throughout the voyage (not including Champagne, special wines or fine brandies), onboard entertainment and port taxes.
