Viking Cruises Announce 2014 Christmas & New Year Sailings
Viking Cruises has launched its choice of Christmas and New Year sailings on its European river cruise routes for 2014 due to early demand from the UK market.
The special sailings will operate in destinations well known for their Christmas markets and yuletide traditions. Passengers can enjoy the breathtaking sights of cathedrals and castles along the Rhine, immerse themselves in the cultural cities of Budapest and Vienna on the Danube or sample delicious wine and authentic Portuguese cuisine on the Douro.
Guests on the Christmas departures can enjoy a traditional European festive dinner whilst, at New Year, the ships provide the very best vantage point to witness local celebrations and to raise a glass to toast the New Year.
